The Dark Trooper is a generic name given to several types of Imperial Battle Droids that resemble Stormtroopers. The Dark Trooper consists of three different phases, each phase more dangerous than the last. Phase Zero Dark Trooper: This wasn't a real phase yet, just Clone Troopers reworked into Cyborgs.
Phase One Dark Trooper: This was a metal skeleton armed with a Vibroblade and a shield made from Phrik. The Phase One was quite rudimentary, but still very dangerous.
Phase Two Dark Trooper: These are the most common Dark Troopers with full Phrik armor and Repulsorlifts that allow them to attack from the sky.
Phase Three Dark Trooper: This is the ultimate Dark Trooper, but only one unit was created aboard the Arc Hammer. Even more impressive than the Phase Two, this Trooper is armed with missiles and can also act as a shell for organic drivers if necessary
