Galactus eats another world & some inhabitants escape. Alicia Master's new boyfriend, the Silver Surfer, helps her set up for an art show of her sculptures. During the event, Mole Man tries to provoke a fight between the Surfer & Alicia's old boyfriend, the Thing. During the battle, Alicia manifests her cosmic armor. The FF & Avengers go after the Mole Man who is stealing a waste treatment plant. During the conflict, a large meteor threatens to flatten New York but the Surfer risks his life to deflect it. The meteor turns out to be a ship with a dying alien inside claiming, "He's coming."
